Which AI is doing the work?
Google's Gemini drafts the copy. Our design system arranges the layout, picks the palette, and gates the output on a static performance budget before you see anything. The AI is Gemini; the taste is NorthLuma's. We don't hide which models we use — that would be silly.
Do I need to bring my own hosting?
Yes. Vercel and Netlify both have free tiers that comfortably host a site this size — forever, with global CDN and SSL included. The deploy README walks you through it. If you already pay for hosting (cPanel, Hostinger, anywhere), run npm run build and upload the static out/ folder it produces.
How does the clone feature work, legally?
You paste a URL. Our crawler reads the public layout structure — sections, palette, type hierarchy — the way Lighthouse and SEO tools do. The AI then redraws it under your brand: your name, your colours, your copy. We don't download their images or republish their text. You ship a better-built version, with your own content, on your own domain.
Do I really own it?
Yes. MIT-style license. You can edit, host, sell, fork, gift, abandon. The only thing you cannot do is claim NorthLuma did not make the original generation — which seems fair. After download, our relationship with the website is over until you ask for another one.
Can I edit the site after I download it?
Yes. It is a normal Next.js project — open it in any editor. All copy lives in lib/site-content.ts, colours and fonts in app/globals.css and tailwind.config.ts. Before you buy, you can also regenerate inside the builder with different inputs or swap themes live.
Do EU customers pay VAT?
Stripe collects VAT automatically based on your billing country. For B2B EU customers, enter a valid VAT number at checkout and Stripe applies the reverse-charge mechanism. NorthLuma AB is a Swedish VAT-registered AB.
Can I get a proper invoice?
Stripe emails an itemised receipt automatically. For a Swedish-format invoice (our VAT, your VAT, B2B reverse-charge note), reply to the receipt with "invoice please" — NorthLuma sends a PDF within one business day. Yes, manually. The volume permits it.
What currency are these prices?
USD. Stripe charges in USD; your bank converts at its daily rate. Native EUR/SEK display is on the roadmap when buyer demand justifies it — email [email protected] to push it up the queue.
Will my site disappear if I stop paying?
No — there is nothing to stop paying. Pro Source is a one-time payment: you download the files and own them outright. Unlike a subscription builder, your site can never go dark because a monthly plan lapsed. Host it anywhere (Vercel, Netlify, your own server) for free, forever.
